Whenever my kids head out anywhere, I always say to them "Be careful, use the buddy system and be aware of your surroundings." I am sure I am not alone in this. It is so important for everyone to be aware of their surroundings, especially women. Unfortunately, situations happen so often and so quickly to women - we all need to learn how to properly protect ourselves (physically and mentally) if ever found in harm's way. 

So, L4R has recruited Todd and Randy to help us, help 14 women do just that. This 3-hour, free workshop will focus on self-defense tactics, real-world hands-on tactics, identification of threats, and strategies for improving situational awareness. Essentially, being prepared.

If Reesie was still here, I would want her to know all these tactics to help her lead the safest, most empowered life possible.

Where | The NEW Beckwith Township Hall - 2022 Beckwith Park Lane, Beckwith ON

What do you need to bring? | Just yourself! We will have everything you need on site, including refreshments! 

What do you need to wear? | Something comfy that you can move in. Indoor shoes only. Think: gym clothes.
